Third Appointment with Supervisor (Progress 1 Draft Discussion) – 2nd May 2025
I met with my supervisor on 2nd May 2025 to present the first draft of Progress Report 1, which comprises Chapter 1 (Introduction) and Chapter 2 (Literature Review). The discussion focused on improving the coherence of the introduction, deepening the theoretical foundation of the study, and strengthening the critical review of related works. My supervisor provided constructive feedback on how to improve the flow of content and recommended further enhancement of the problem formulation section to better reflect current trends and gaps in intrusion detection research. Achievements: Completed the first draft of Chapters 1 and 2. Received detailed academic feedback for improving content quality and structure. Upcoming Plans: Revise Progress 1 contents based on supervisor’s comments. Submit my Progress 1 Report to receive marks from supervisor. Begin Progress 2 report for Chapter 3 (Research Methodology) and Chapter 4 (Research Design and Implementation)
