First Appointment with Supervisor – 10th January 2025

I held my first official meeting with Ms. Hazinah Kutty Mammi on 10th January 2025 to propose my intended Final Year Project (FYP) and formally request her supervision. During the discussion, I introduced my proposed research topic, “Comparative Analysis of Machine Learning Models for Network Traffic Analysis (NTA) Systems” The project concept was well received, particularly due to its emphasis on improving NTA systems using ML algorithms. Dr. Hazinah agreed to become my supervisor and encouraged me to begin preparing a formal proposal in alignment with the PSM1 structure.

Achievements:

• Supervisor confirmed and approved project idea.

• Project title and core research direction established.

Upcoming Plans:

• Schedule a follow-up meeting to outline proposal sections.

• Begin initial literature review to support the problem background and methodology.
